IrriTrol SL Series Spray Sprinkler Heads

SL Series Pop-Up Spray Models:
- SL200, SL210, SL212, SL215, SL217 2" pop-up spray.
- SL400, SL410, SL412, SL415, SL417 4" pop-up spray.
- SL600 6" pop-up spray.
This is IrriTrol's entry level product, aimed at the cost-driven residential market, where low cost is the most important feature. It is typically sold with a variable arc nozzle preinstalled. The preinstalled nozzle is removable and can be replaced with any other IrriTrol nozzle. IrriTrol is better known for other products and many irrigation stores do not carry the IrriTrol spray-type sprinkler heads, although they often will carry IrriTrol valves and controllers. IrriTrol is a division of the Toro Company.
The information here is for spray sprinklers with the IrriTrol label only. It does not apply to the Lawn Genie or RainJet sprinkler lines, both of which are also owned by Toro. Because there has been a bit of cross-marketing of these product lines over the years there is sometimes confusion regarding which product is which.
The “D” rating for the sprinklers with a pop-up height less than 3" is due to the low pop-up height. I consider any sprinkler with a pop-up height less than 3 inches unacceptable in most circumstances due to the increased maintenance necessary to trim grass away from the head. I would only use low pop-up heights for bubblers or shrub areas with widely-spaced shrubs and no ground cover.
